Just as the lyrics depict, “You know say we no be regular” we know that Mavin has never been a joke in the Nigerian music industry, as the artists reflect on their successful journey. As always, award-winning producer, Don Jazzy takes production credit for this outstanding track.

The record label has also come through with this 2nd album in history, “Chapter X”

2. Omah Lay – Soso

“Soso take my pain go away” is one of the current trading lyrics you’d find out there.

A talented and versatile musician, Omah Lay is here with yet another impressive track titled, Soso. The singer speaks of his pains and how badly he wants to forget them. He pleads with a particular lady, Soso to please take his pain away.

“Soso” serves as a follow-up to Omah Lay’s joining with Bella Shmurda on the track dubbed, “Philo”.

3. Asake – Organise

Still dominating this week’s playlist is Asake with another one from MMWTV titled, Organise. This song is quite deep and thoughtful.

Asake released a quote that should be framed. It reads “too much wisdom makes a wise man foolish”, which he of course sang in Yoruba, but we need to acknowledge him for this. This banger s vibey and should sit gallantly on your playlist this week.

Asake also recently made magic on the music video of the son directed by the one and only, TG Omori.

4. Mr Eazi – Patek

Well-revered NIgeiner singer, Mr Eazi is here again with another one, Patek. He joins forces with DJ Tarico, and Joey B to premiere this Amapiano track.

The singer is letting us know that he takes good care of himself with his hard-earned money. He balls hard and flexes the girls even harder. The song has taken over the streets and clubs, and it is such a vibey one.

5. Wizkid – 2 Sugar

Wizkid’s new project is packed all the sauce and juice.

His joint track, 2 Sugar features Mavin’s one and only princess, Ayra Starr. The music video of the track also dropped on the 11th of November.
Machala and Ayra are letting you know that they are not about negative energy or problem, as they are also busy fighting their own demons. So “keep the bad energy on”.

6. Ruger – Asiwaju

After renaming himself as the “popsy and daddy” of the music industry, Ruger comes through with 2 banging hits at once, Asiwaju and Red Flags.

Asiwaju is without a doubt one of the hottest tunes right now. The singer effortlessly dished his vocals on a platter of gold to his fans, who still cannot get enough.

Just last week, Nigerian singer, Jaywon acknowledged “Asiwaju” as the hottest song in the industry.

The singer who is constantly leaving his trails as a rebel has become a subject of controversy following his Twitter rant and Instagram posts. Many have wondered if Ruger is trying to walk in the shoes of a certain artist, or this is who he truly is.

7. Buju – Traboski

Buju BNXN is here again with an addictive tune titled, Traboski.

This comes amid his little scuffle with his colleague, Ruger bordering on supremacy. Since the beginning of the year, BNXN has been coming through for his fans and music lovers in general with quite impressive tunes. BNXN, undoubtedly, earned the title of the most featured artist of the year 2021.

Tiwa Savage comes through with another bomb, and this time, she comes correct by employing the services of the new street king, Asake as they premiere the song, Loaded.

This marks Tiwa’s comeback track following her joint with Major Lazer and Major League. It has also been recorded as the first time we’ll share from Asake since his debut album, MMWTV.

With the track, Loaded, Nigerians have also wondered why it took so long to collaborate. The duo brought their A game and it’s absolutely impressive. Tiwa also addressed her s*x tape scandal in it.

Young Jonn is a wicked producer and an even more wicked artist.

Following the success of his tracks, Normally and Dada, Young Jonn dishes a new fave to his fans worldwide dubbed, Xtra Cool. This song takes us back to the days of “MTN Xtra Cool” which used to allow us to talk to our loved ones all night.

The singer tells his lover that he can not get her ‘ringtone’ out of his head. The song passes the ultimate vibe test and also has this feel-good vibe to it. Just last week, Xtra Cool clinched the number 1 space on Apple music.
