Skales Unveils Visuals For ” Kpakurukpa ” Off His Latest Album, Sweet Distractions.
KPAKURUKPA is an Amapaino and Uptempo track produced by Jay Pizzle and Mr Skales has decided to bless our screen with an official video.
The songs on Skales’s Sweet Distractions fit into three broad categories: revived rapper credentials; animated relationship travails; and the contemporary zest of South Africa’s amapiano.
On more than one occasion, Skales proves to be a dab hand at amapiano. “Kpakurukpa” siphons the musicality of a non-word for the hook, which is layered with treated vocals and business-like lyrics about fun: “ don’t take this life seriously, Hit the floor make we dance” urges Skales.
