Afrobeats rising star King Rapsodi has set the ball rolling with the release of his studio single FAR AWAY.
“Far Away” which was released on April 29th through Redkonnect Nigeria Limited, and was recorded predominantly in Lagos, Nigeria and is described by the artist to be a song “that expresses his inner feelings”.
On the single, Rapsodi linked up with his long-time producer Pimpzbeat. This song is rich with vocal chops, brass and wind instruments of the Afrobeat genre.
“Recording this piece was a special one for me. The elements in the beat composition were soul lifting and I couldn’t wait to vibe on the beat. This project will be my first this year and I want to assure my fans that I made a hit. I won’t starve my fans for too long. Accept this as a gift from me” Rapsodi commented.
Last year, Rapsodi made a victorious return to music with “Damage ft Erigga” – his highlight release for 2021. You can listen to Damages on all digital platforms. The song made several editorial playlists on top digital streaming platforms.
